Ordinary People Doing Ordinary Things of Extraordinary Importance!
 DUNEDIN
FRIEND - LINK
Supporting a network of people with and without disabilities in friendship and leisure activities.
WHO WE ARE
Dunedin Friend-Link supports people with intellectual/learning disabilities to participate, contribute and belong to the Dunedin community. It does by identifying what would make life more enjoyable and supporting someone to fill the gaps  through friendship, groups membership or pursuing a dream.
OUR VALUES

We believe that all people need acceptance, affection and a sense of belonging.
All people need others in their lives to ensure that their interests are being understood and effectively responded to. All people have the right to take part in activities of choice in their communities.
GET INVOLVED
Be a friend
Many have no previous involvement with people with disabilities. But all believe in the rights of everyone to be shown dignity and respect. Link friends are people who enjoy getting to know someone new and will take pleasure in developing reciprocal friendship.
